Peregrine Bryant has over thirty-five years of experience as a trusted architect of historic
properties and innovative new buildings. He established Peregrine Bryant Architecture and
Building Conservation in 1994 on the retirement of his former partner. The practice has grown to a size
ideally suited to offer tailored responses to projects of any scope. The close-knit team works in constant
collaboration affording a range of perspectives and skills to every client. The practice has extensive
experience in the conservation and repair of listed buildings as well as in the design of sensitive
alterations and additions, which complement the character of the original structures.
Specialising in the thoughtful adaptation of historic properties for contemporary use,
Peregrine Bryant is also adept at applying classical and vernacular design principles to twenty-first century construction.
A new building is conceived in relation to its setting - addressing the landscape, surrounding architectural fabric and
greater environment. The firm's use of green technology is not limited to the detailing and
materials of contemporary structures. The choice of natural and environmentally sensitive materials is
also implicit in thoughtful refurbishment of historic buildings.
In addition to its acclaimed work in the United Kingdom, the practice has undertaken projects in the Mediterranean, the United States, and Latin America.
