Park House, Norfolk

Traditional style new build

The aim of this project was the sensitive introduction of a new house into an existing 19th Century courtyard situated close to listed ruins. The use of brick and flint was inspired by the surrounding garden walls to give the house prominence, whilst allowing it to sit comfortably in its setting.

Internally the spaces are arranged around a central hearth, the main focus of the dwelling and fenestration was carefully considered to capture the surrounding views. The use of Ground Source Heat and well water helps improve the self-sufficiency of the whole development.
