After we had amalgamated and extended a number of existing cottages to make a comfortable house, our client was then looking for a large space for parties and the display of paintings. We took some adjacent ramshackle barns and former kennels, and turned them into an elegant Palladian room with supporting kitchen, bathrooms and guest bedrooms.
