New Library and Sixth Form Centre

The new library building sits in a suitably prominent site surrounded by enclosed gardens. The exterior is influenced by its traditional surroundings, whilst the interior provides a wide variety of atmospheres for research, private study and group learning.

A generous vertical access brings light down through the interior, whilst horizontal links to adjacent buildings encourage use of the new library’s many facilities. The feedback from the pupils, librarians and visitors has all been very positive and the new working environment is very well used.
