Progress is continuing at our Royal Hospital Chelsea Activities Building project. After weeks of soggy conditions, the sun is shining and the contractors are pushing forward with great enthusiasm. Masonry work is almost complete, the roof structure is on over the Hall space and slating work has just started. Finally, the warmer weather has also given the Forticrete fairfaced blockwork the chance to dry and show its final ivory finish.

Visiting the site at this stage presents a fantastic opportunity for those involved to see the new building, and the RHC site as a whole, from the roof and lantern levels. Sadly this will be a view to be enjoyed by maintenance operatives upon completion!
