PBA’s project at Wakefield Lodge has been featured in this week’s Country Life. The main Lodge, designed in the early 18th century by William Kent, sits in a beautiful Capability Brown landscape. The work on Little Lodge across the lake, which itself dates back to the 16th century, began in 1996 and involved the reconfiguration and repair of the interior of the house and various conservation works and a second phase was undertaken in 2002 focussing on the landscape and creation of a new entrance archway. The third phase of the work, to convert the old kennels into ancillary accommodation and entertainment spaces, began in 2006.
